We built the studio we'd want to hire.
Good Shopify work turned out to be oddly hard to buy. The cheap option was fragile. The expensive one was slow — and the hard parts got quietly subcontracted. "Custom" usually meant a theme with the dials turned up.
So we made the alternative: senior engineers who scope and build the same project, ship in weeks instead of quarters, and don't vanish the day it goes live. No account managers turning your idea into a brief into a ticket. You talk to the people writing the code.
